EMC AEVIT Product Family The beauty of the AEVIT system
is that a variety of input devices (i.e. wheel lever, joystick, etc.) can be
used with the standard drive module and servomotor setup. This is why the
AEVIT Is a "family" of products rather than a single system.
Whether you require a lever for Gas & Brake, a wheel for steering, or
even a joystick for Gas, Brake and Steering, AEVIT fits the bill.

IDS Electronic Gear Selector
Directly attaches to the OEM shifter hardware. Utilizes the OEM transmission
control display on the vehicle's dash. Activated by the GPM through buttons
on KP8 control pad.

|
IDS Electronic
Park Brake
Linear actuator system with enough torque to stop your vehicle when parking
in steep area or in an emergency situation. Activated by the GPM through
buttons on KP8 control pad, or switch can be located in any area that is most
accessible to the user range of motion.

IDS General Purpose Module (GPM)
20MHz RISC-processor programmable control module used to operate the
secondary controls in the vehicle. Activated by the IDS PROXIMA Touchscreen
System or the IDS KP-8 Switchbox. Alternate inputs include the Crescent Industries??
Voice Scan© Module. Many features are controlled with an alternate action
switch, minimizing the number of switches required. Special Features Include:
Extended delays to prevent double-keystrokes Transposed key locations Extra
or locked-out functions

IDS Mechanical Hydraulic Steering System, with HLSS-X
Crossover Steering and Backup Steering System (BUS
Safe, Simple and Rugged. OEM Steering Wheel may remain in all vehicles,
except in the full size Ford vans, if placement of the HLSS steering wheel
permits. HLSS-X allows the user to change to OEM steering using a control
lever. Backup Steering System allows the user to steer if the engine shuts
off, and is AUTOMATIC. Customized orthotic adaptations and adjustable force
and feedback are available to suit each application. Reduced-effort or
Zero-effort force used to steer

IDS PGB-1000/2000 and Backup Brake System
Linear Motor Positioner controller used in the PGB is a pulse width
modulation device (PWM). Safe operation down to 8 Volts for emergencies.
Backup Brake System is a completely independent braking system parallel to
the PGB. PWM provides a smooth, fast and accurate response from the Hand
Control to the linear actuator. Components: Main Servo Actuator Backup Servo
Actuator IDS Motor Controller Throttle Safety Release Joystick Control (PGB
1000) or Dual Joystick Controls (PGB 2000) Mounting Bracket and Hardware

IDS PROXIMA Touchscreen System
The Proxima Touchscreen System is the newest addition to the IDS Secondary
Control family. This product will give users a control system that requires
no appreciable pressure to activate. The icons on the screen can be as large
as needed, and placed in any pattern. In association with the GPM (general
purpose module) controller, up to 254 functions can be controlled from one
Touchscreen, at up to 10 Amps per circuit. The GPM will also control
logic-level signals, and can be equipped with resistors to trigger analog control
systems, such as those in networked vehicle systems. The Proxima system is
not limited to controlling automotive systems, though. It is possible for it
to control actuators, solenoids, pumps, and the like. Along with IDS upcoming
Input Processing board, the system will be able to display bar graphs,
simulated meter-needle displays, and scope-type displays like that on our
Secondary Control system of speeds, fluid levels, direction/headings, etc.
